Peer-review

The peer review process consists of four stages: evaluation by the editor-in-chief; public (open) review; a unilateral blind (anonymous) review conducted by a foreign scientist unaffiliated with the author(s), including a full report in English; and a unilateral blind (anonymous) review by scientists not affiliated with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University or the author(s), also including a full report in English. In cases where the opinions of the reviewers (both foreign and Kazakhstani) differ regarding the publication, the final decision rests with the editor-in-chief.
